Your wedding day should be an event so splendid; the memory lasts long after the caterers are gone.

It’s a fact that the best parties have great food. Your choice may be a simple afternoon tea, a bountiful buffet or an elegant sit down dinner. Whatever your preference, your guests will enjoy the freshest ingredients Vancouver has to offer – exquisitely prepared, served with a sense of style and offered at a sensible price. Your ideas and our years of experience will create just the right menu to fit your taste and budget allowing you to relax and enjoy the party.

We not only offer the finest food in Vancouver but our professional event coordinators offer “hands on” service and will be with you every step of the way to answer questions and offer advice. We will take care of all your event rental needs, everything from china & silver to tents & tables. Your wedding is important to us; it is therefore our policy to know what is important to you.
 


 
Your information The quickest way to get an initial estimate is on this website. Go to request a quote and fill in the information. To get a better idea of what you envision for your special day, we would prefer a face-to-face meeting or a phone conversation. This will ensure you are getting what you want and the quote will be as accurate as possible. If you would like to discuss some options and get a little more detailed, one of or professional event coordinator is only a phone call away. We recommend that you have a venue booked, or tentatively booked as quotes do change from venue to venue.
 


 
The Proposal We take a good look at your event requirements, and match menu with rentals, venue and your vision. We understand it’s a big decision and our quotes are completely transparent so you know where the money is going. A comprehensive PDF proposal is sent over for your review
 


 
Revisions We are more than happy to adjust the proposal as details of your day are clarified.
 


 
The Tasting We are more than happy to arrange a tasting of some of the menu items you have chosen. This will give you a wonderful idea of the flavours and presentation your guests will enjoy on the day of your wedding. This is also a great time to discuss more details, options and questions you may have about your wedding day.
 


 
Confirmation and contract At this point you feel comfortable and confident in The Butler Did It Catering. A simple contract is signed and a deposit is paid to secure the day. Welcome aboard, we are honoured to be a part of your big day.
 


 
Month before meeting During the time leading up to your wedding we welcome emails, calls, and meetings to ensure all of the elements of your event are lining up correctly – as well as keeping us up-to-date with your RSVPs. We line up a meeting at your chosen venue to go over all the details like floor plans, timing and décor. This also gives time to fill in any missing pieces to ensure you enjoy your day to the fullest.
